I chaired a roundtable on No Recourse to Public Funds and free school meal eligibility. I was honoured to meet the young people and families campaigning to make sure no child is denied a free school meal because of their parents immigration status. And they did it! Last week the Government finally saw sense, and changed the rules so that all school children will be eligible for a meal at school.
