This week I raised a number of issues children and young people with SEND have faced this past year, during a debate on the proposal for a national education route map for Schools and Colleges in response to the covid-19 outbreak.
Children and young people with SEND have far too often been an afterthought in the Government’s planning for education. I called on the Government to put those most affected by the pandemic, at the heart of all Covid policy. You can watch my full speech below.
