Our public transport is simply not good enough.

Olivia Blake said: 

“Every day local people tell me about their struggles with our unreliable public transport. Be it late buses, disappearing routes or the expensive, delay-ridden railways – it’s clear that our privatised transport network is not fit for purpose.”

Labour will protect bus routes with critical community value, including those serving schools, hospitals and rural areas.

We will keep fares down and invest in green buses to combat climate change.

And Labour will bring our railways back into public ownership.
